Born and raised in Connecticut, she moved to Rhode Island in 1982 and became a Trinity parishioner in 1985. She and her husband, Peter, live in Warwick. Nancy previously served on the Vestry in 1999, when she accepted the Bishop’s Jubilee Challenge, and worked with Dot Lane to lead the West Bay Deanery’s Airport Chapel project, completed in 2008. She has worked on Trinity projects including the development of the Holst Memorial Garden, Coffee Hour coordinator, President of Happy Hollow Board, Social Outreach and Episcopal Charities. Currently, she is on the Prayer Chain committee and co-chairs our new Godly Play program with Donna Manchester. She has served on several Diocesan committees, currently on the Episcopal Charities board. Nancy is a pediatric occupational therapist in the Warwick Public Schools, and works privately as a consultant for people with visual impairments.

Susan Halvarson, Assistant Treasurer
Susan is a lifelong Episcopalian and attended St Davids in Cranston during her youth. Susan has a busy family life with three children who keep their parents running at all times. Rev. Marsue Harris, interim rector
Marsue has been at Trinity for the past year and a half to help us discern and shape our future. She has served in 9 Rhode Island parishes as the Interim or Priest in Charge during the past 29 years. At Trinity we recently celebrated the 30th anniversary of her ordination to the priesthood. She was the Protestant Chaplain at the ACI for 13 years and worked in Soledad and San Quentin prisons in California as the director of a social service agency before coming to Rhode Island in 1982. She wrote a religion column for the Providence Journal for 18 years. Church members and those alienated from institutional religion found it spoke to them. Her preaching ties Scripture and daily events to the spiritual life. Folks describe her as down to earth and easy to talk to. Marsue’s Scottie, Fergus, and Westie, Abbey, attend church and coffee hour regularly along with her husband, Robin Porter. She can be reached through the church office or at this website. She is happy to entertain questions and visits. Please call.
